1. Who we are (Data Controller)
This website (jobleader.co.uk) and the JOB LEADER platform are operated by:
As a company established outside the United Kingdom that offers services to individuals in the UK, we process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. UK Representative
Under Article 27 of the UK GDPR, a controller established outside the UK that offers services to data subjects in the UK is required to designate a UK Representative.
We are currently in the process of appointing a UK Representative. Until this appointment is finalised, please direct all data protection queries to gdpr@jobleader.cz.
3. Supervisory Authority & ICO Registration
The supervisory authority for data protection in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF (ico.org.uk).
Our registration with the ICO (data protection fee) is currently being completed. The registration reference will be published here once issued.
4. What personal data we collect
- Identification and contact details (name, email, phone) provided during registration or via contact forms.
- Professional information submitted by candidates (CV, work experience, skills, career preferences).
- Technical data (IP address, browser type) and cookie data — see our Cookies Policy.

6. Recipients and processors
We use carefully selected processors to operate our services, including Microsoft Azure (cloud infrastructure, West Europe region) and Cloudflare (security and performance). AI-assisted features are provided using Google Vertex AI.
7. International data transfers
Our infrastructure and databases are located within the European Union (Microsoft Azure, West Europe region). Transfers of personal data between the UK and the EU are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations for the EU.
For certain AI features, data may be processed outside the UK and the EEA (including the United States). Where this occurs, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses supplemented by the UK Addendum (International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU SCCs), together with a commitment that your data is not used to train AI models.
8. How long we keep data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary. Specifically:
- Data of candidates in a specific recruitment process is retained for 6 months after the process ends.
- Data of candidates included in our Talent Pool is retained for 3 years, on the basis of the candidate's prior consent, with the option to withdraw at any time.
9. Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
